Each July, as Goddess Moon
Begins to hide Her face
I gaze and ask "How many more
Will find me in this place?"

A man approaching fifty
Has seen some heavy shit
But most are slow to see the Love
That's at the heart of it.

My eyes are young as ever
Just ask Ex One or Two
I guess they knew the day would come
I'd set my sight on you.

They say I can't be faithful
But Wisdom must be earned
It's all a choice and so I choose
To live the Love I've learned.

And you're the One and Only
You are All Women, too
I see you in this July Moon
And know that we are true.

If Miracles do happen
I'm asking for one more
To lie with you beneath the moon
And love Forevermore.

Each July, as Goddess Moon
Begins to hide Her face
I gaze and ask "How many more
Will find me in this place?"
